Bravo of Port St. Lucie profiled on The New York Times!

Major League Baseball players from Latin America love Bravo Supermarket, in Port St. Lucie, and they come to eat here on a regular basis. Famous names like Mets greats Jose Reyes, Carlos Beltran, and Carlos Delgado — have all eaten here. Their love for rice and beans, oxtail, and plantains reminds them of their roots and country.

“They’ve all grown up with our food,” says Luis Merejo, owner of the Bravo Supermarket in Port St. Lucie, Florida.
